6th of December
The Umdoni Park Challenge, the new edition to the KZN trail running calendar and hosted by Botha House and the Wild Fig Cafe', got off to a flying start on Sunday with 18 runners setting off to tackle the 14 kilometer route within the Umdoni Park. After an invigorating run, all participants and their family members enjoyed picnic boxes and fresh fruit juice in the gardens around Botha House. A truly memorable day out for everyone!
13th of December
Well after two weeks of private functions, the Fig opened once again to welcom in the public. A blustery weather patter was the order of the day so the tables were relocated to the front terrace of Botha House. It was also a special occasion and 2 of our visitors were celbrating their 40th wedding anniversary. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Hampton.
20th of December
Christmas is a time to celbrate with family and friends and on the 20th of December the Wild Fig Cafe' did both. 40 guests were treated to a relaxing Christmas Buffet lunch where all you had to pay for was what you ate. Great fun was had by all that went up to weigh their food as each person tried to guess the weight of their partners or friends. Merry Christmas to everyone and a very prosperous New Year.
